"I love my practice. It is small in numbers and rich in time available to spend with women. In today's world, many struggle with the direction healthcare has taken: Managed Care. For healthy, pregnant women, this is not the best system. Managed Care does not allow care providers to spend enough time with the pregnant woman, and it tends to focus on 'production.' Midwifery care focuses more on process. Pregnant women need more attention, excellent educational resources, and very personalized care. It is my pleasure to support and nurture women during this precious time in order to help grow healthy babies, labor, and give birth in conscious awareness."
